Good Mother Gallery is pleased to present nOkay, a solo exhibition by Bay Area-based artist Terry Hoff.
Hoff’s new body of work features paintings and sculptures grounded in images from cartoons and natural surroundings such as the ocean. The juxtaposition between the two create a medley of shapes, colors and textures that are fresh and new, yet familiar and unusual at the same time.
Hoff creates a world within his work that questions the stability of humankind and interrogates ones individual feelings of ‘being okay’ when the world that surrounds them isn’t.
